Indonesian Education Scholarship (Beasiswa Pendidikan Indonesia/BPI) is a scholarship program from the Indonesian Government which is managed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) with funding from the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan/LPDP). This scholarship covers the Diploma, Undergraduate, Master and Doctoral levels for both domestic and foreign universities, which is implemented by the Higher Education Financing Center (Badan Pembiayaan Pendidikan Tinggi/BPPT) of the Ministry of Education and Culture.
The aim of BPI Kemendikbudristek is to improve the qualifications of prospective Vocational High School Teachers, cultural practitioners, prospective new lecturers at State Universities, lecturers and educational staff at State Universities. Apart from that, this scholarship also helps outstanding students and students living in the Nusantara Student Dormitory to obtain higher education degrees, as well as supporting Indonesian citizens to continue their education abroad.
BPI Kemendikbudristek registration for the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year is open from 2 May to 31 May 2024 for foreign universities, and from 2 May to 30 June 2024 for domestic universities.
